THIEZAC

LE SENTIER DE DECOUVERTE DU PAS DE CERE

Countryside heritage, Nature attraction, Regional Nature Park, Passes, valleys and canyons, Rivers, Volcanism

These gorges were formed there over 20,000 years. Lock natural, Pas de Cere slowed the progression of the glacier then the river Cere continued slow erosion initiated by ice. This is a sensitive natural area that is the subject of a development project.
Since Vic-sur-Cere, by the hamlet Salvanhac, take the direction of the municipal campsite, a small easy walk without elevation gives you access to the gorges.
Another access is possible by Roucolle waterfall from the rest area provided on the RN122 halfway between Vic-sur-Cere and Thiézac.
