Mont-Dore has managed to preserve its traditional appeal as a large Auvergne village and has a warm welcome in store for visitors. At the foot of the highest summit in Auvergne, Le Puy de Sancy (1,886 m), lies a vast ski area with more than 85 km of trails thanks to the open connection with Super Besse. Between the luge track and the cheese-making workshops (burons) typical of this region, there is a dedicated area where children can safely enjoy the entertainment provided in the snow. After a fun-filled day, the warmth of the busy streets awaits, where the whole family can enjoy a variety of culinary pleasures (authentic cuisine guaranteed). And who knows? You might be lucky enough to attend the "Snow Jazz" festival. Life is good at Mont-Dore, where family fun comes into its own.
