Le Lioran: skiing, culture and mountain life

(1,250 m- 1,850 m / 4,101 ft - 6069 ft)

Located at the foot of one of the Auvergne's highest volcanoes (the Plomb du Cantal - 1,858 m or 6,095 ft), Le Lioran is a well-equipped resort with 41 slopes, 22 ski lifts, 1 cable car and 8 chair lifts.

The resort also boasts a boardercross slope and has created a slalom course with timing systems for extra fun. Downhill skiing on the resort's slopes equipped with night lighting is a rare pleasure.

We suggest that you take a trip up the hillside by cable car to take in the captivating setting of the Lioran range, nature’s giant playground, where you can enjoy a full range of winter activities and sports (not forgetting those unrelated to skiing) in a wonderfully peaceful setting, including snowshoeing, cross-country skiing to really recharge your batteries, or a rapid change of scenery as you go dogsledding.

Snowmobiling and ice skating complete the huge choice of activities available at Le Lioran, a resort which is dynamic during the day, festive in the evenings and always great fun.
