Saint-Floret

Saint-Floret, a charming little village with rounded titles

 

Crossed by the waters of the Couze, (itself crossed by an ancient bridge dating from the 15th century), the small village of Saint-Floret nestles at the bottom of a steep sided valley between two basaltic cliffs. 
In the castle’s keep, a vaulted, Gothic-styled room is home to around a dozen frescoes painted in the 14th century telling the story of Tristan and Iseult...
